Ordering and Ownership
A loudspeaker at this level is a serious purchase, and you deserve to know exactly how it works before you commit: how ordering works, when your pair ships, what happens if they aren’t right for you, and what owning them is like for years afterward. Here’s the whole story, start to finish.
Before You Order
The only way to know how loudspeakers sound in your room, with your music and your equipment, is to hear them there. That’s why every pair comes with a 45-day in-home trial. Your living room is the audition room.
If you have questions about which model suits your space, your amplifier, or anything else, write to us first. You’ll hear back from the person who designed and built them. The model comparison and our speaker placement guide are good places to start.
Ordering and Payment
Each pair is built in limited production, so lead times vary. Most pairs ship within two to four weeks, and we’ll confirm yours before you place a deposit.
To order, start from the Momentae or Sveltae page with a 50% deposit. The balance is due when your pair is finished, before it ships. If you change your mind before your pair ships, we fully refund your deposit.
Building Your Pair
Your loudspeakers are built, finished, measured, and listened to in our workshop, then checked again before they’re packed. Every connection is hand-soldered, and every pair is matched.
Delivery
Shipping within the contiguous United States is included. Each pair is double-boxed, fully insured, and delivered by FedEx or UPS with a signature required. For Alaska, Hawaii, and international delivery, contact us for a quote.
Please keep the original packaging. You’ll need it if you return your pair during the trial, and it protects your loudspeakers if they ever need to come back to us for service.
Your 45-Day In-Home Trial
Live with your loudspeakers for up to 45 days from delivery. We ask one thing: give them at least two or three weeks before deciding. Your ears adjust to a new pair, the speakers settle in, and placement takes some experimenting. First impressions are rarely the whole story.
If they aren’t right for you, let us know within 45 days. We’ll send a prepaid, fully insured return label, and we’ll deduct the label cost from your refund. There’s no restocking fee. Loudspeakers should come back in like-new condition, in their original packaging. If a pair returns with damage beyond normal use, we’ll deduct the cost of repair or refinishing from your refund.
Setup
Every pair arrives with a setup and placement guide. Most rooms come together in an afternoon: set your spacing and toe-in, play music you know well, and make small adjustments over the following days. Our speaker placement guide covers the details.
Care
The cabinets are solid hardwood with a hand-applied hardwax oil finish, and they’re easy to live with. Dust with a soft, dry cloth, avoid household cleaners and polishes, and keep the speakers out of direct sun and away from heat sources. A care card in the box covers refreshing the finish over the years.
Warranty
Every pair is covered for five years against defects in materials and workmanship, and the warranty transfers to a future owner. These are built to be passed on, and the warranty goes with them.
If something goes wrong, email us with a description and, if you can, photos or a short video. Because every connection is hand-soldered, we bring repairs back to the workshop. For a covered defect, we send a prepaid label and pay shipping both ways. The warranty doesn’t cover damage from accidents, misuse, or excessive amplifier power, but we can still repair it for a fee.
What Arrives With Your Pair
Along with your matched pair, stands, grilles, and adjustable leveling feet, you’ll find a signed letter addressed to you and photographs of your pair being built. Every pair is individually numbered, so your loudspeakers carry a record of who built them, and when.

Haelix cables in standard lengths carry the same 45-day trial and five-year warranty. Custom lengths are made to order and can’t be returned.
Questions
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. If you change your mind before your pair ships, we’ll fully refund your deposit.
How long until my pair ships?
Most pairs ship within two to four weeks. We’ll confirm your lead time before you place a deposit.
Do you offer financing?
No. Payment is a 50% deposit with the balance due before shipping.
Can I return my loudspeakers?
Yes, within 45 days of delivery, in like-new condition and in their original packaging. We provide a prepaid, insured return label and deduct its cost from your refund. There’s no restocking fee. If a pair comes back with damage beyond normal use, such as dings, scratches, or missing parts, we’ll deduct the cost of repair or refinishing.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my pair?
Yes. The five-year warranty covers the loudspeakers, not just the first owner.
